There’s something soothing about the crunch of leaves below your feet in fall. It reminds me of being a child and crunching along as I walked. And certainly, some of those leaves are crunchier than others. These little guys had a very satisfying crunch. That crunchiness was in stark contrast to their looks – the smooth curves and soft/delicate shapes wouldn’t really lead me to think they’d be crunchy, but here we are. These are the little moments that end up sticking with me through fall. The quiet moments that you don’t think much about while they’re happening, but that first crunch brings me right back. Neat!
