Some mountains almost have a flow to them. I’ve always loved how this one almost looks to be made of some liquid – as if I could imagine its formation from liquid rock, creating almost waves or flow among the cracks, then solidifying in this massive rock wave. Add in that this particular spot loves getting absolutely caked in snow, and the creative opportunities become endless. In this instance, I just loved how the golden light illuminated the foreground snow and the peak, while the mountain reflection on the creek created some additional texture and almost a golden path to the summit.
If you can’t tell, I love this spot!
